2.5mm, 6012 GP at 75 - 80 amps., just about all down hand and backward step welding to lessen distortion.
We may have different classifications over here, 10 and 11 are deep penetrating cellulose flux coated.
12 and 13 are general purpose, down hand and vertical, 24 are iron powder for down hand only.

After observing the trolleys at the Local Supermarket earlier today, I was surprised at the amount the castor wheels shimmied when resting lightly on the floor.
Methinks that fixed wheel would be a better idea.

Stuff me with a truck load of house bricks, the project is on hold, my lad just got rostered on to work next Sunday, so no drags for us.
Now to get the adjustable wheel mapped out.
Id replace the shock with a solid bar. With the wheelie bar attatched to the grabbar and to the swingarm the shock will not move . If the wheelie bar is strong enough maybe you wouldnt have to put anything in there.
Thanks for the input, the frame end is now beefed up so as to immobilise the rear shock.
We had to call off the run at the drags as the lad got rostered on to work that day.
We will finish it and take it for a run soon and post some vids.
The wheel will be a fixture , no adjustment.
