are ssr 125cc pit bikes crap

my cosin tells me its a company that takes a crf50 and mod the chassie to except a 125cc motor also im getting it for 600$ use 3 times its a 08 anything to watch out for

friend had one it was a peice of junk never seemed to want to work his motor mount even boke on it like 2 days after he bought it used with 2 rides. sad buy a name brand yamaha ttr-90, honda crf xr 80, suzuki drz 110, kawasaki klx 110.. those all mint play bikes.. i had a ttr 90 for like 3 years never once let me down never worked on it other than regular matinece...

They are not a Jap bike. They are chinese, that tells you about the quality right there. The SSR's are for the most part based off of Honda XR/CRF 50's. You have to make some changes before you even start the bike up like change the oil, check all the bolts, oil filter, and much more. Do your research. Planet Minis is a good source. Good Luck!

counsel never buy Chinese, they are very bad qualitee. the only Japanese brand are valid

get name brand. honda all the way. i had a china mini and hated it. i parted it out. now i have a real honda crf 50. its much better. you just know the motors are bullet proof. not to mention you can get parts for name brand bikes. the cheap china ones break all the time and in alot of states you cant even register them.
