Anyone use Octane Boost? Come look if you have/do.

like the title says anyone use it and how do you like it, because i am getting a tecate 4 from 370 when i get all the money soon and want to know how you all like the octane boost since it needs around 100 octane.

i run this old school 108 octane stuff my dad has and i do notice a slight difference.

yes its octane boost, but i have also heard that it only adds like a point of octane but im really unsure

klotsz is suposed to add 2 1/2 octane level for one oz of use

Just get a jug of high octane race fuel and mix it with your gas. Its better than additives.

ive ran av fuel in mine and had no trouble only like 100 octane though but ran good since its made for air cooled engines...

For our DIRT Modifieds we run VP Race Fuels 114 octane gas, howd that work with my stock blasty motor with k&n filter and toomey pipe kit? haha

you can get the av fuel at small airports and love your plastics trapper 1306

The highest pump gas I can get in my area is 93 so I use a little octane booster to help out.

too much octane.. what most people don't realiase is that higher octane fuels burn SLOWER.. so if you have a pump gas engine and dump race gas in it your hurting performance. thats why race gas engiens have higher compression and/or more timign advance.. octane is mearly an anti knock rating.. it's a measure of a fuels ability to reisist detonation... a stock blaster needs nothing more than 89 or 93.. any more and your wasting your money..

where do you get this av fuel?

small airport is where i buy mine. actually thats the only place you can buy it.. it also has a small amoutn of tetraethyl lead (i know i spelled that wrong.. haha)

to help what out? do you have alot of timing advance? do you have alot of compression? if you have a pump gas engine and it doesn't detonate with pump gas than the octane boost is a waste..
