Anyone heard from Fsuroxu lately??

exactly lienes. I have wanted to build a car my whole life. I just haven't had the money or space to keep it. the blasty is cheap and ez to store.

Yea i got my 99 vw beetle sitting in my barn.. id love to tear down to nothing and rebuild just for sh*ts... but the blaster seemed like it wouldnt be that hard of a task..and i figured when i cant remember what bolt goes where.. i can always ask on this forum and 9 times outta 10..someone has the answer...

Well Awk has said he will send me the front brake setup that i bought from this fsuroxu but never got... so i told awk i would buy something off him ( rear brake setup) so that at least im buying something from him and i dont feel like its a hand out... Id love to send him off the paypal for one of his gsxr setups... but being this time of year.. i dont have another $200 basically to output towards the blaster... i need to concentrate on cracking the bottom end and figuring out what i can salavage outta that..

the one real bummer is i bought some engine cases off fsuroxu before this happened..and it was listed with a crank bearing... but he never shipped that bearing with the cases..and was suppose to ship with the front brakes... so now i gotta track down a crank bearing for these cases as well...


as for parts... i dont even really know what i competely need yet.. i know im rebuilding the bottom and top end of this blaster..i know the chain rollers are screwed..and just about every bearing etc will need to be replaced... if it starts getting too messy in the money... it will end up taking me a lot longer to finish.. just as long as i dont get discouraged in the process...

you are better off replacing unknow bearings anyway. awk is the man and hates to see people get ripped off.

x2 crank bearings/seals should get replaced any time it comes apart

I need to find a good deal for a full gasket set for an entire rebuild... i also need to buy a new piston.. i just gotta figure out what size... i lost the paper i wrote it down on.. but i know somewhere buried in this forum its in my rebuild thread... im thinking my steering stem is a bit fubar... but im wondering if its a good idea to extend that one in the process.... really i just figured if i got the front brakes.. i could put the front end together again..and at least it would look like some progress..... never seems to be enough time..
