anybody use a rear shock from a kx 80

my sone is only 85 lbs. stock shock is too rough. put my ltz400 rear in... worse.. some one said a kx 80 shock will work great. any one use one before? thanks

the bike shock? i would imagine it not being the right length... but if they are you can try

thats a negative... it was long enough but a lot smaller upper bolt mount on shock wount let it work.. ok i dont know whats next..... hmmmmmmmm

looking at now a banshee with a racetec new spring for his weight

i put my ltz shock on there and it was a brick... and 400ex isjust a little softer....

Just order a new spring for his weight and have the 400 shock revalved for his weight as well. may be a little more money, but it would be right.

banshee rear shock is not the same length. fronts are, but not the rear

I have a banshee rear shock on my 60lbs kids blaster. his quad is set up for flat track, not sure how it will work for mx or trails but its defiantly soft and short, which is perfect for us. what are you using for front shocks? we have 300 ex up front and they re ok. a lil stiff but the length was right for us.

I have trx450r rear shock on both my blasters , with preload and compression backed out its real soft. 04-05 shocks fit with kor bushings
