So I called the guy that is selling the yz 125 for my buddy and the seller said that when he gets it up in the topped out it cuts out and stalls. When I gets slowed down he can kick it and start it rite back up. What could that be?

adjust float height , clean carb , check fuel filter , check tank and petcock for dirt or kinked crushed fuel line , its gotta be a fuel starvation problem

its probably a cloged main jet because they for 3/4 to wot and then it starts back up because it runnig off the pilot jet i think

Because he says when it stalls he can start it rite back up.

He's using all the gas at wot and after it dies it fills up again. He needs to pull the gas line off at the carb and make sure he is getting good flow. Next would be to take of the bowl and clean everything also make sure the float is working properly. The gas cap vent can also cause low flow, so check that if flow to the carb is bad.

Ok well the guy before him welded stuff in the bowl so you can't take the bowl off so what we are going to do is take the carb off my bike and put it in that one and see if it works good. Then if it doesn't I am going to check the compression.
