i know theres a bore size chart but i didnt know what to type in the search and couldnt find it when i did. but on the top of my piston it says 6700. does that mean i have a 67mm piston in there? cause isnt stock like 66 or something?

ok. so that probably means it was blown up before and then re sized the next size up?... and also today i decided to tear down my engine and replace all of my gaskets to try and find my damn air leak. well i put everything back together and when i was tightening the head, 3 bolts didnt tighten. and i still had a gap between my head and cylinder. so i pulled the head back off and 3 bolts came out with it. i look in the bolt holes and theyre stripped. now what? do i need a new top end? or can i just re tap those old holes?

time serts are the best option, then heli-coils.

67mm is the 4th size up from stock. it goes in .25mm increments.

ok my dad said to use heli coils but when the bolts pulled out, it pulled a bunch of the cylinder with it. but if anyone has a jug in good shape before i go use heli coils then pm me... but where do i find time serts?

You don't need a new cylinder. The material that came out with the stud is less than the drill is going to take. You can get a heli-Coil repair kit for less than $30. I'm pretty sure you need a 8mm x 1.25.

yes 8x1.25 is what you need, i also like to put a sh*tload of red locktite in the stud hole also to help hold things.
