starting to get more annoying then the fuel switch leaking.

sat around for at least a year so not really suprised it needs stuff

read the chronoligical order of checking for spark bla bla

replaced the stator, still nothin. all switches work, and tether is wired up the same way it has ben for years.

waiting on a coil, no resistance in coil. also unhooked all the tors junk and have no ambition of buying a new throttle cable/tors delete kit

ill let yall know if the coil fixes its sandy va&in$

So you replaced the stator because one of the coils Ohmed out bad or just swapping stuff? I'd also unscrew the grounds and clean them and the frame mounts apply a light coat of dielectric grease to both sides of wire loop tighten.

one of the stators ohmed out bad, but when checking the new one i realized my tester has different ohm settings than what the page i was looking at, so the original was fine. well at least a new stator doesnt hurt. lol

checked all connections and grounds, had the yamaha guy test the coil so i actually found the bad part, plus there was no ohmage even on my goof as$ meter

and its a 01

nope not the coil, still doesnt spark. although the old spark plug "holder" did not want to pass electricity through it so thats replaced as well

the only thing left would be the black box under the hood, but thats out of my budget and my budget is going towards the motor for my car ssooo shes gona be sittin around for a while more haha

found the issue, wired the stator coils backwards, not sure how

anyhow runs good now stock cdi is good, ricks cdi wont let it rev up so??

tried it tors on and tors off
