Another light question

My lights have never worked since I got the Blaster. What could cause this? And when I turn the light switch on is the taillight supposed to come on too? Im checking wiring tonight, what should I look for? Like, what is a common cause of lightlessness

voltage regulator is prolly bad and yes the tail light should come on with the switch

I'd say its most likely the voltage regulator. You can test to see if its getting too much voltage by checking the voltage with a multimeter.

im not sure how that works you have to have so may posts i think

ever just test the headlight bulb? then second , use a light tester to check for power at the bulb socket , if the taillight is coming on then you know the regulator is doing its job

none of the lights come on. i didnt check it yet. if i put 12 volts to the light will that blow it?

see if you have power at the voltage reg.....most like its bad

i have the same problem
i changed the voltage regulator and its still doin it
any ideas on what could be causing my lite to keep blowing?
also my tail lite comes on and works
im at a loss here and clueless
please help me
