I rebuilt my top and bottom end. Got it all back together and started it up and it idled at about .5 to .75 throttle. I changed the main jet to a 270 from a 260 and had the air screw all the way in, this didn't change much. When i pulled the choke all the way out it idle at almost normal. My question is what main jet do you think I need. The blaster has a +3mm stroker, no air box lid, k&N filter and a powercore 2.

Thanks for any advice.

I would say 320, I have a 300 in a stock motor with abills pipe, uni, open airbox and premix 32:1. So with your engine work I would think you'd want more.

Yea around a 300 because when you pull the choke it is allowing more fuel to go in so if you get a bigger jet u should be good.

Yea i think your main should be 300,310 or 320.Also if you have to pull the choke all the way out it idle at almost normal then your pilot is too lean. get a bigger pilot also I:I

anything over 300 seems a bit much for those mods, u said your airscrew was all the way in? thas why u need to pull out the choke to start iit, try turning ur airscrew out 11/2 turns out and see if that helps

It starts fine when the air screw is at 1.5 turns out, it just idles crazy fast. What size of pilot jet do you think I need?
