i finally got the electrical prob fixed and i took it out but it was running like hell but it drove fine! i felt air by my leg and it was coming from the reeds. about that time when it went wide open and i cut the swithch off and it still kept going when i heard from my dads voice quote: " if it goes wide open hit the brake and pop the clutch if the switch dnt work! " today that advice saved my life. so i took it home and found out that it blew 3 SCREWS OUTSIDE OF THE REEDS! THE ENDS ARE THERE BUT THE HEADS AND HALF OF EM ARE GONE! i came 3 feet from a barbed wire fence i est. i was going 60 because i had tears from the wind. any knowledge about this?:o

so what was the electrical issue now that you fixed it?

and also, you should probably do a compression test now that you've baked the thing

/\/\/\/\ yeah what freek said, kinda like a deisel engine works, once you had fire and enuf heat, just compressing the fuel will ignite it, no spark needed, just like a deisel
get them bolts out, airleak fixed and hope ya didnt damage anything today, and a leakdown test and compression check will be a good idea, before runnung it again.
or you'll be on here asking for ken oconnors phone nunmber !!!!!!

its not fried it will crank up and run but when i get home (im on the schools computer) lol i wil get bolts off of my parts blaster. and seal up my reeds AGAIN. the blaster had a bit of blowback i suspect!

do not DO NOT start that quad at all again until you get that fixed then even before you start it do a leak down test il say it again do not start it at all unless you want to be making a how do i rebuild my blaster thread and just cause it starts dont mean you wont need a rebuild soon now keep an eye on the compresion cause i think your gana need a new topend soon if your gana keep starting it when your missing i think you said three bolts from the intake

mmmmmm diesels I:I love em. anyways that is kinda sketchy. You definately want a compression test on that, prolly fried the rings, coulda scored the cylinder. dont laze out on this. re-seal that reed cage and do a leakdown and see if that was the original air leak.

Just another reminder to check for loose bolts before rides cause shat happens
