Whats the best way to keep water out of your stock airbox? Like i have the lid on and i have the thing that is put on at the botom of the airbox. So what eles could i do?

Don't use a blaster like a submarine?

I think the snorkel and drain plug are about as good a protection as you're going to get on a blaster without sacrificing power. I know how to keep water out of an airbox, I have a quad with 54" of fording capacity but power output isn't such a concern with that one...

Are you working on being a submarine or what? The stock airbox is really restrictive with the lid and everything. About all you could do is put something under the front of the seat where air is ducted towards the snorkel to divert water away.

Stay out the water lol na if u got the lid on put a small bead of silicone on it to seal the lid. Do u have the little snorkel piece on the front of the box?

How ironic is that? I:I

also there is a rubber gasket that goes on the lip of the airbox lid that is almost always missing, check and see if you have yours still and get a new one if not

^^^ it wont keep water out like the stock lid. it will just allow more air flow into the airbox. it is like take the lid off but doesn't allow big things to get into the air box.

mhmm. like i go through puddles and dont wanna have to take off the lid, but i want more power, like are there any aftermarket parts that will help with that? like any type of lid or something?

taking the lid of and put the outerwear lid cover will help increase air flow. water shouldn't go flying into the air box from hitting a puddle unless super deep.

i would, just be a little careful when coming upto a creek or river or ocean. but little puddles are ok to go flying through. you can put something on the cover to make it a little waterproof so the water will bead up and not go through. which will work for puddles.

fast puddles are never a issue. as long as ur not crossing some 3 foot deep stream you will be fine. me and my uncle went to a trail system after it rained for like 3 days straight and went through many puddles fast some of them were prttyd deep and we got almost no water in the airbox. the seat provides the majority of protection

shee..Seal it like with silicone? cause someone said about sealing the stock lid with silicone.

i dont know of anyone doing with the lid. but it wont hurt.
but there is something you can put on the lid to make it waterproof. i know you can do it with the outerwears for the pods.
