wait wait u need an oil injection block off kit to run the project blaster airbox? i just read that on pb.com...... wish the dirtball on ebay would have told me this before i bought it....is there any way i can still run the block off kit with this airbox? thanks, like could i move the oil injector?

Yea you need to take off the the oil injection, just take out the little gear and put it back on and block the injection inlet on the carb. And at least he didn't lie to you and tell you that the oil injection did fit, like he told me

What is keeping you from getting the block off kit? They are only like $40.00! Pre-mixing might be a pain in the ass, but it's way better than f*cking up and having to rebuild and possibly re-do the bottom end if you get metal shavings in your Bottom end.

lol or do that is it safe that way?
Oh yes! very safe it never givin me a problem at all. just drain the oil, pull the clutch case off then remove the plastic gear. Now make sure you don't damage the gasket like I did, if you do you need a new one but there only like $15 if I remeber right, now cut the lines and block the brass nipple on the carb and two other lines with a carb vent cap you can pick them up at autozone, napa ect.... I found you want to put a little gasket maker inside the cap just to be safe. now put new oil in the gear box dump the old gas out and drain it from the carb, now put fresh pre-mix in and your done.

how were the directions? i guess i'll just buy the vito's or block it off my self?

its pretty easy. you just remove the oil pump cover, take the oil pump off, remove the little white gear, and install the block off plate. btw i think i had to remove the clutch cover too but i dont remember what i did.

ive had the oil injector since the day we bought it brand new that would be 6 years and its always ran good, you just gotta make sure everytime that it smells like 2 stroke and that its smoking. I bought a block off kit but havent gotten to it cuz its been working so why do it unless ill get some porting done and stuff

Dude, Get rid of it. Even though it still works, just fricken remove the injector junk. You get better performance anyway premixing. since the oil injector runs a little rich. 32:1 with good pre-mixing oil. Bel- Ray, Amsoil , and Klotz are all good!!!!
