Airbox lid jet question

When I bought my blaster the airbox lid had some holes drilled into it and it jetted properly. Question is if I remove the lid all together would I need to rejet or will it only be a slight change and still be jetted good? Here's the holes:

yes you would have to rejet, if your engine is stock you would likely need a 270, what is in it now

it will run lean if you dont and lean=death to your engine

Currently at a 260 if I remember correctly.

That doesn't sound too far off. Put in a fresh plug and try it. Rip around for a bit and check your plug color.

I know this isn't a true plug chop, but it's good enough to know if you are in the right ballpark.

I agrree sounds close, I suggest a plug chop as always when rejeting
