i tried doing a leakdown test its a brand new top end just put in. it wont hold any air i pulled the plastic cover off where the stator is and i head air rushing from there what do i do!!!!!
They're inexpensive and not really hard to change. Several websites sell them, but I would stick to oem seals. I've never tried Cometic seals, but I know their gaskets are top notch.
i think Yamaha wanted 27 ish buxs for one seal that needed to be ordered and they wanted me to cover shipping LOL fu$# the STEALERS . there seal looked just like what i bought and measured up the same also. maybe the compound is different? maybe not? i took my chance with the cheap ones. hell if the factory ones where so good i would not have had to change them lol
behind your stator and the other side is behind your clutch basket. you will need a flywheel puller too if you dont have one. there are alot of threads about this. not too hard to do. but you still didnt answer how much air pressure you used.
