air box lid

my blaster cant run with the air box lid on but i need to have it on cuz where i ride its very dusty. is there anything i can do to my air box lid so it runs with it on. i drilled 12 holes in it but it still bogs please let me know

Try adjusting your air mixture screw on the carby ! What size jets do you have installed and in what carb ?

You Whud have around 260 with it on.

Do not mess with the air screw it only adjusts idle.

FMF says #260 main with the air box lid on, if you premix at 32:1 then #270.

Needle on middle clip, float level 20 - 21.5 mm.

How clean is the air filter?

Plug chop to confirm.

Do they Make anything like a flat air filter so I can put it over my airbox so I don't have to run my lid on

And the air box vents won't work I tryed my friends lid he has 12 of them and it was still alittle bogie

Any changes with breathing require re-jetting, confirmed by a plug chop.

If you put the lid on, you need to change the main jet to a smaller number.

Did you change the jet?

Clean the air filter before you plug chop.
