i know i already asked this but, when i leak downed my cylinder, it isnt taking any air it is all blowing right out the vent hose to the right of the intake. i sprayed every where along all the seals, and where the cases meet. There is no leaks anywhere?

as i said before in the other thread, it sounds like the case(s) are cracked. i bet if you plug the other end of that vent tube it'll seal and hold pressure. i bet it's cracked right behind the crank just like mine was. you did say you had a piston failure sometime back right?

Could be leaking from your crankcase into the tranny from the right side seal or between the case halves. You would not be able to see it leaking between the halves.

plug that vent tube, run another leakdown, if it holds it's either a cracked case or the seals are blown out.

you have to take the flywheel/stator off and the clutch basket needs to come off to check both seals.

ive been thinking about that one^^^. i put my finger over the vent whole and it still dosent accept any air into the cylinder??? it just goes into the crank

You really should split the cases and just check everything to be sure! Really its not all that hard and it will save you lots of money and peace of mind! Just my .02 Take it from someone who just wasted a 600.00 rebuild by my own stupidity! Could of caught it and saved it but I was lazy!

so just take the clutch and stator off and check them seals? orr what?

Yes, Plug the vent tube have someone put pressure in 7psi of course or if it doesn't hold pressure keep putting pressure in- and spray soapy water around the seals, more than likely will find bubbles. If not then the inside case is leaking somewhere like where the balancer is, "common when a piston blows".

Yep, if you are leaking out the vent then it is:

Right seal, left seal, case leak, or a crack.

You want it to be a crank seal, so check those first. Remove both side covers and the flywheel. With luck you won't need to remove the clutch and crank gears but do so if you can't see the seal well enough.
