Wont to get some of you blaster owners input, i was wanting to know if a aftermarket muffler is any type of power adder in any way,i was debating on good used aftermarket muffler or vito's performance racing flywheel advance key,and i all ready have a aftermarket head pipe with stock muffler,

any input would be good i;am new to the 4wheeler thing but i love it lol:d

If your running a stock exhaust, swapping out the stock silencer for an aftermarket will give you an increase.
As for the advance timing key... Don't waste your time. Do this...

Get your head re-chamber into a "Hemi-Head,Squish Band" shape ,then FEEL THE POWER!

A head re-chamber is an average of $60

Now take this with a grain of salt.

When I read the blaster pipe shoot out article and they posted the dyno info on a variety of pipes.

My opinion and what I took from the article. Is that most pipes seem to average about 2hp gain (pipe and silencer combos)

And a portion of them dont kick in, until 5000 to 6000 rpm. There were a few that helped in the mid range.

Add in a good pipe combo and up grading to a bigger main jet. seems to yield a little more.

Sporty

yes the correct silencer for your pipe should provide better flow than the restrictive stock silencer, but don't expect huge gains

and no need to buy the vitos degree key for the flywheel, there is a diy timing advance thread on here.......

You will not gain any power by advancing the timing.

The power available will just come on sooner at a lower rev.

I have 2 CT silencers that I have no use for... and they would be CHEAP... I don't have 300 posts to use the classifieds (silly rule), but I have great feedback on other sites.
