Got another blaster awhile back finally got it goin, problem is it has a factory clutch kit on it but does not have the big clutch spring or whatever its called that goes into the bigger friction plate. i put it all together and tried it to see what it would do and clutch never engages. soon as its put in gear it jumps forward. Id like to buy a new clutch kit but does the aftermarket clutch kits need that spring washer also? if it does ill just buy a spring washer and use the factory clutches. ive put a tusk clutch kit in before but its been a few years ago and i cant remember if i used that piece or not. thanks guys

Correct, that "wave washer " can be left out.
My guess is that you either need an internal rod adjustment, possible internal ball welded to the rod or missing, stretched beyond limit clutch cable.
the dots not aligned on the pressure plate and clutch boss would give the opposite symptoms.

But if a new clutch is wanted/needed, the "driveline performance " brand available on ebay includes a full size fiber to properly eliminate the smaller fiber/wave washer the factory and other clutch kits use.

here's some info..........

Hmmmm well im sure i put everything back together right...guess ill pull it back apart tonight and recheck everything. if it was the clutch actuator it wouldnt push the clutches out at all would it? thanks guys
