I have an 01 Blaster stock except for some Boyesen Power reeds I recently installed..I currently have a stock pipe on there will it make a big differance going with an aftermarket pipe? Im not sure if I want to spend the money unless other wise convinced..Please let me know what you guys think..Thanks Kurt

It is, and anyone will say it, the best performance upgrade you can do from stock. it wakes her up. ive got a fmf fatty gold series with a power core 2 silencer for sale if you want. fmf isnt the best, but its plenty, but if you dont want to spend a ton of money, im only asking $200 for the kit. its in good condition.

yup pipe really wakes up your blaster. like i have said in another post on here the FMF set up is good gains for the money. but, if you have money and you dont mind spending it get factory 7, toomey or LRD.

and i dont need people telling me that FMF sucks for blasters. I know FMF isnt the best but what I do know is that for the money FMF will give you good gains for the money. The others will give you GREAT gains for ALOT more money.

here we go again. lets stop it before it starts again.

ok im pretty sure that everyone has their own opinions but like i have posted before. FMF is a good company and they must have a good marketable product. A company doing well done not sell hundreds of thousands of pipes, gear, and acsessories a year. Further more, who is one of the top sponsors at not only major but even small motorcycle, mx, freestyle, or other events going on. You see FMF everywhere you go.

I dont see "Toomy" badges on lifted Fords all across america, but I do see FMF.

At my local bike shop i would say 9 out of the 10 used bikes and ATVs there have FMF pipes, silencers, and gear on them. Go look at parts catalots. FMF=10 pages total. Other Brands= 1 page each.

There is no question that FMF is a good product. I know there are better. LRD, Factory 7, Dyno Port. They all make great products. However FMF would not have got where they are today with out making a good product. People dont buy stuff just because. When it come to bikes, and atvs people do research. FMF does tons of reseach on each product that they market.

you can like what you want and have your opinion on what product is best, but for the love of god. stop bashing people that have something you dont like. There are 2 sides to every story. I dont bash people that have a Dyno Port because I have an FMF. that does nothing. this forum is for get and give information, make friends and get out problems with out Blasters figures out. Its not to bash eachother for what we have all worked hard for. I dont know of a single memeber on this forum that have just had a perfect blaster given to them. They have all worked hard to get and design their own perfect blaster to them. just because you dont like what they have done doesnt mean say something about it.

not all people can just go out and buy a brand new Dyno Port pipe for $500.00, but they can afford $150.00 for a used FMF.

can we please all just leave the FMF V.S EVERY OTHER BRAND arguments off of this forum. Take them to e2s. it doesnt get anything done and it doesnt help anyone.

Thank You.

Thank You guys for all your help..Im ordering an FMF today only because I cant afford anything else and all about performance..Thanks again Kurt

i hate it when ppl bash fmf if fmf sucks sooooooo much why dont you make a better pipe huh?
my first pipe is prolly ganna be either a fmf or a pro circuit.
i have no need for an all out race exhaust right off the bat when i have a stock engine would you put a $1500 set of headers on a stock car hell no..

When i got my bike it came with a DG pipe and silencer. however the silencer is hollow, haha. absolutely no spark arrestor or baffles or anthing. how well does this pipe compare to others? If fmf or toomey is way better then i am willing to buy that. but my motor was also screwed up and i'm rebuilding it this week. but i was just curious as to what everyone elses take on DG is

DG, is not the best, but is somewhat good. hell anything is better than stock right?

Like i said DG isnt the best but they are ok. if you got the money get something better.

i dont know why people have to say stuff about a pipe. its an exhaust who cares!!! why should you give a sh*t what other people think if you like it thats all that matters! So dont listen to people when they say "o you copied me" and " o that sh*t sucks"

Ya I know what ya mean, there's only so many parts out there to choose from. But i was wondering if there are any outstanding negatives to their design or whatever. I'm totally happy with it, it sounds sexy and does its job. lol

if you like the DG pipe stick with it. there is a DIY silencer repacing under the DIY section. looks like you ride sand so you dont need a spart arreseter anyways.

Ya I pretty much ride sand, probably once or twice a year i'll ride trails, but i make everyone live with the sound of a two stroke. lol. I never have to worry about a straight pipe cause even at the track they don't care.

dont forget, fmf makes stuff for more than blasters.... they make stuff for everything out there. so it's probably good for other stuff, but for a blaster, from what i've heard from people who BUILD PIPES for a living, fmf and dg are the worst out there. if you want a decent but cheap pipe, look on ebay for pro circuit. you can find brand new systems under $200.

i guess you just have to decide what you want. set a goal now. i put the fmf on a liked it till i started researching and porting. now i can't wait to get a custom. if you're thinkin of goin big bore, porting, or want the most power, go with something else. f7, power pro, trinity, shearer, all good.

when you get into porting tho you have to tell whoevers porting what kinda pipe you have. if they say it doesn't matter or don't ask don't send them ur cylinder.....
