Anyone running ASR a-arms? I am wondering what to run for toe in or should it be toe out? I bought the arms and installed them last night on my 03 Blaster they are +@+1 arms, noticed that the right side wheel actually rubs on the top ball joint and when the wheels are turned all the way to the right the wheel actually rubs on the rear of the bottom arm. Can any one tell me what I am doing wrong? Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Thanks for the info, great read. I bought the arms used so I did not have any instructions I do not think I put the arms on backwards but I am not sure. Why only the one side hitting? Thanks again

for toe, put the wheels as close to parallel as possible with the bars straight. The steering geometry gives the effect of toe out through the turning arc, so having any toe out will drive one of the wheels farther than it can go.

i typically set my stuff up slightly toe in, the tendency at speed is for the tires to want to pull outward and this offsets this effect

Here are some pics. what do ya think?

ok heres the update. Set the toe in to 3/8, adjusted the camber as recommended, right wheel was still rubbing, I am using stock yfz 450 rims and tires ( 2" and 5" off set). Tried my stock blaster steel wheels (3" 4" off set) and there was plenty of room. I guess I need to use wheels with a 3-4" off set. Does that make any sense to anyone? Could the wheels really be the problem? If so why does only the right side rub? Any ideas?

from the pic you posted it looks as if they are still toe-d out a bit. i like the idea of running toe in a bit to offset the wheels pulling outward during higher speeds...
