Ok so as most of you know I picked up a 91 kx125 with an 89 motor that needs a lot of love. I decided to break out my dads SLR camera today for some pics of it. I'll start off with some general pics of it. I'm not sure if I'm gonna just return it to stock or go ahead with a full on build.

As you can see from the previous pics its missing things and the rear fender is destroyed.

Anyways I believe this air filter is a UNI but not sure and it should be cleanable right?

Ancient FMF silencer and for some reason the logo is facing the inside of the bike instead of the outside??

I'm really quite clueless as to what this black piece/tube is and what its function is?? Could someone also tell me if the clutch cable is supposed to be ran that way?

Is it normal for the spark plug to not be dead center in the cylinder?

It has been honed and as from what I can tell from my digital caliper the bore is stock size

Will that massive chip in the bottom of the carb affect me any?

Or this tiny chip in the bottom of the cylinder?

Looks to as that black piece and where it connects is part of the power valve.Looks as thought you are missing a cover on it.You may need to reroute that clutch cable to make sure no tension is on it when you turn the bars.

I'll search the little box of parts I got with it see if I find anything that fits there

Are you missing the seat, swinger, the rear wheel and caliper? That filter should be fine.

Seat, swinger, and caliper are all there were just off the bike when I got it, well I'm assuming the rear caliper is the one thats in the box. I am missing a rear wheel though.

I think you're right, that's where my buddy's is. Hes is like a 03, might as well take a look at powervalve to see the condition of it.

EDIT: Same buddy downloaded a manual for like 2 bucks off amazon, and just printed it out and pit it in a binder.

Update somehow the head is seized onto the cylinder. I pulled the cylinder off without a problem and I also undid all the head bolts so I could pull it off and it is still held on by something we can get it to lift a bit but not come all the way off what could that be???

probally just has been on there so long its just stuck, i would get the cylinder into a vise and lightly tap onto the head with a mallet evenly and it should come off?

Ok well we just tried to get it with a flat head but I got the cylinder and head soaking in parts cleaner now so hopefully by morning everything should be freed up

Head might have been put on with some kind of sealer and is stuck. Cassey/Birchwood gun scrubber will disolve 3 bond, maybe try acetone. Use a wooden wedge, a screwdriver will F it up.
