My block off is dremel made out of a piece of alloy cut from a friends wrecked front bumper.. Necessity is the mommy of invention!

You should remove the pump. The pump needs the oil it pumps thru it to lube itself. As gay as that sounds, without the oil the pump will burn up.

i made mine out of some 1/8" stock, gorilla tape makes a pretty good gasket, LOL
