660 front shocks

660 fronts are comming in the mail so ill tell you in a few...lol Im going to use them, gotta be better than stock
im 220 here thats what I was thinking also....im gonna jump some sh*t...gotta be a little stiff....
i need to put something on this 04 damn near shook me to death on a rocky trail yesterday. was thinking either 660's or yfz's
the yfz are shocks are much nice than the 660's, I've been thinking of getting some for my raptor. i think you have to get LT A-arms for the blaster to make them fit, but their definitely a better option, with the rezzies and being fully adjustable.
Well in my case i have 3 inch lowering blocks in the front , so ill just loose an inch of drop or so....so its works...lol
the non SE models were the same as the 660's but the SE and i think all of the 09's shocks are more like the yfz shocks (full adj., rezzies) except for the fact that they are a little longer. if i were to put yfz shocks on my 660 it would lower it by about 2" but the 700 SE shocks would not.
I think that all the 660R shocks are the same length. I just bought a pair and it seems like the spring rates are actually about the same as the blaster shocks. It also looks like there are some differences between model years though. Some of the early ones have shorter springs with the perches up higher on the shock body, and the 2005 ones I have have a longer spring and the bottom perch is right near the bottom of the shock.
They are 15.75" eye to eye. I don't think they'll fit on stock arms without being in compression at full droop, which is not good for ball joints at all.
