500 predator

So my friend picked up his Polaris Predator 500 today...
I rode it and just might have to turn to the dark side.
It's a lot faster and the look is just awesome, he got it for 1200 which is a very nice deal, the guy ordered a new rim for him because the one on it has a wobble.
I'm not sure, but I am looking them up on CL

I have one for cruzin the dunes & my YZ Blaster hammers it ... LOL ... but I do like the way it rides ...
heavier & not as fast as the 450's but not as much maintenance either.

Well, Ive easily kept up with a YZ250 and a CR250 on mine.. but i guess it's obviously down to alot of things such as the rider, the terrain etc..

Anyway in my opinion they are great quads and corner lovely..

Ok heres the best way to look at it I've owned both..

The blaster is the most fun quad I have EVER riden, they accelerate hard and you can throw them anywhere making them a great bike to ride..

The predator is ALOT more powerful than the blaster so if your bored of the power then the predator is a great step up.. but yes there GREAT at handling but they are ALOT heaving so you have to be alot more.... Aware? of the weight and power otherwise your gonna end up under a damn heavy quad
