dont beat yourself up too bad man, people get raped on quad repairs all the time. its just important that now you know how well the shop really "takes care" of you. next time something happens check in here first, chances are members here can walk you thru the repair.

this thread just seems fake. first he ask if he shuold get it, then said he got it, people tell him get it ported he said he isn't sure then somehow he got it done yet he has no money to pay for it all.

I never asked if i should get it. I do not have any money because it is being spent on the blaster. the work has been done. But i am still having to pay it off. I dont know if its ported to match the stroke. this thread was no cry for help. it started out as a question. < What kinds of gain can i expect by adding a +4 stroker crank to my bb blaster > why am i explaining this to you? who are you?

i am someone that knows more than you.
What you can expect from and a stroker is more torque and higher compression.
You can also expect it to run like sh*t if the ports are not matched to the added stroke length as it will mess the port timing up. Also to get the most out of your engine, you are going to want to get a bigger carb, a good exhaust, cut and mill the head, change the timing and jet it correctly.

Have you heard of internally turbo/supercharging your 2-stroke by grooving the crankshaft? a guy on youtube did it to his sled...he touched the thottle it just launched.

^^^^ you can also lighten the connecting rod by drilling holes in it. i know there is a builder somewhere that does it.

It's called the turbo crank mod.
That guy must be getting power from somewhere else because the mod has been proven to be worthless.

about what? the drilling holes in the crank or "notching" the crank?

Here's a picture of one.

**...and I apologize for getting off topic, all the talk about crankshafts reminded of it.
