+4 hotrods install... crankcase "bored" pics

Ive got a hotrods +4mm stroker crank sitting here in my lap (i guess there the same they look the same) and looking at it I aint to happy!!

I dont like the way there is so much of the conrod thrust washers exposed out past the crankshaft webbing?

Arent you worried about possible problems with that,or do you just race this and rebuild it often?

I was a little worried when i saw how much material had to came off the case, thats one thin wall, i tough.... But so far so good and its been like 18 months... (never the less, i have a spare engine.... just in case)
