man when you are doing something like changeing the crank a $10 tool is worth it.

I want to put the crank in this weekend is there a tool i could at like lowes that would do the same thing

Try going to a yamaha dealership and rent the tool! Some places will rent the tools for a low price. Worth a try anyway. If not i would definetly recommend buying the tool, if you mess something up without the tool your just gonna be out more money. Have patients and oreder the $10 tool, I hate waiting on something like that too, but it will be worth it in the end. good luck!

Take the engine to the local shop, show the guy a ten spot and ask him to remove the flywheel. Works every time.

Any local MX shop should have a flywheel removal tool.
