30mm oko carb

the chrome falls off the slide, i am getting one from 1bad442 and he had to put a new slide in it due to that. Hopefully that will fix it, other than that i havn't heard anything bad

Well, i too have had the chrome come off the slide. but was replaced free of charge from the supplier CPW In ohio.
I am new to the jetting carb thing so to me jetting any carb is a biotch. I'm getting better. I know for sure that I need a different needle. I think they are easy to work on, especially if ya just have to change a main jet uncscrew the bottom nut off and easy access. Took me a while to figure out how to get the right pilot jet but Phragle posted a procedure and it has worked perfectly and helped me figure out i need a different needle to fine tune it.

Would you like to play with one without having to pay for it first? I live in NC (nearby you). If you're looking at one you can come play with mine before you drop the dough.

Slick, I still have not got out by the post office (no excuses, I'm a procrastinator) but I will get those needles out.

Hmm well this carb would just be for this stock motor I have that will be running a Toomey, no airbox lid and a little bit of timing. I think I'll just try and get some stock carb jets, just not sure how big to start with it. It's just gonna be a little trail bike nothin serious. Thanks for the feedback.

there is a 290, 300, 310 i think, wont be able to ship them till after nest weekend though, they are typically 4 bucks each, and i cant see shipping being more than 5 bucks

That's the one! It still has the instructions, stickers and everything... The needle is blue and it has one little rub mark on it. It probably ran 25 hours but it's still in good shape. I work in RTP. We're not that far apart.

I looked. The kit comes with main jets numbered 290-340, a 32.5 pilot jet, and a different needle. It doesn't have the needle e-clip anymore (I lost one and used the one that came in the kit) but otherwise complete to stickers and instructions and the e-clip on the factory needle will work fine on the new needle.
