Ok, so I recently bought a 99' Honda 300EX. I like it, but the back brake ate the brake disc up. Ate the brake pad completely in half. Needs bearings in the back end as well. I know it's probably cheap to fix both (if you do it yourself) but I don't the cash to take it to the Honda ATV dealership here. I posted an ad trying to trade it on Craigslist and got a few responses and one guy offered me a 97' Blaster with ITP Holeshots, DG Exhaust, Small bore kit and also an aftermarkt carb that is called Keihin or something. It's been blocked off so you've gotta premix as well. Who thinks it would be worth trading even? (He lives two and a half hours away and was gonna come to me as well) The 300EX is completely stock except for the rear axle. It has been extended and is very wide. The previous owner did this and it is one of the main reasons I really want to get rid of it. It's very annoying and I hate it. The 300EX also needs new tires in the front because they have no tread left at all on the center of the tire. I had to let some air out of them to get traction otherwise when I would turn I would continue going straight lol. I've got $858 in the 300EX. I paid $800 for it, and bought a new battery. Starts every time even in the cold. So would the blaster be worth that much with the parts/shape it is in? He also has moose handle bars to put on it because the current ones are a tad bent.
Here is some pictures of both.
