300ex or 97 Blaster?

please do your self a favor and get a blasty! you will have alot more fun on a blaster than you will on a 300ex. And you will have a powerband! 2STROKEPOWER!!!!!!!

My friend has a 300ex and it is tough as nails. Although they are not really fast, it would do you better in the long run to maybe fix the 300 up and sell it for a lot more money than you paid for it.

Fioz and R2F are absolutely right. I have had my 2001 Blasty for about 6 weeks. It was in sad shape when I got it. Got it running the first day. It needed a clutch assembly, clutch cable, clutch cable keeper clip, front brake cables, oil seals, carb was dirty, it was rebuilt and then parked for 2 years. I'm not the greatest mechanic and have never worked on a 2 stroke engine before. Very easy to work on and maintain. Go with the Blasty. My next door neighbor has a 2000 300ex and he always has problems with it.
