So, me and dad was working on the blaster today and put what we thought was the oil pipe onto the 2stroke tank and left it for a few hours to gravity feed, but after checking the manual a few minutes ago realised it wasnt the oil pipe it was the crank case ventilation pipe, now put the right pipe on but is their any damage caused and what do we need to do?

Thanks.

just drain the tranny oil and replace it. no biggy but that is a first. lmao

Thanks :) we were crapping it then... incase we did any damage.. also what transmission oil should I fill it with as ive only riden it twice so didnt change it.. thanks again

Never heard of anyone hooking the oil tank to the transmission vent line before. That is a good one man.

Just drain, flush, and refill the transmission fluid. 2T oil is "slicker" than transmission fluid so you just want to make sure you let it drip drain for a while and then pour a bit of oil through it to kind of flush out that last little bit and then refill the transmission with 650mL (2/3 quart) or either non-energy conserving motor oil or ATF (auto transmission fluid)

i would use some atf type f in it no matter what to kinda flush the system out. it usually does a fairly good job with that.

that's what i also run full time in my bike, works just fine!

Thanks guys, ill leave it to drain till monday since the only shop that will be open charges like 3x more than anywhere else then ill flush it and and re fill it, thanks again.

yeah just do that yourself. screw shops they cost too much. we can talk ya through about any problem on here

between help on here and a clymer manual there's not much that you can't figure out on a blaster
