250r rear setup

Just wondering if anyone has ran a complete 250r rear suspension setup? If the have i would like to know what mods there are to be made. Thanks Rob

No. i want everything if possible. I have a +1 250r swinger, shock, carrier, axle, and brake setup. just wanted to know if the swinger can be modded in there.

I beleave I've seen it posted before that the swinger will work on a Blaster with little modding. I'll see if I can find some more info on that for you.

Heard its just some spacers to take up slack on the engine mount and offset the shock mount.

bushings have to be reamed, the 250r pivot bolt is smaller in diameter. Also there is no provision for the linkage, when we did the swap in early 88 we used a link elimantor plate (forerunner to the no link aftermarket 250r swingarms) you need to do some work to the upper shock mount too. not a hard job if your decent at fab work.

'86 atc swinger isn't any different then the '86-'87 trx swinger's. Same mod's are going to have to be made to make it work on a blaster
