there longer, i cant remember if they fit of not, i know there longer than blaster shocks, soo if they fit without long travel shocks then they will rasie your bike which will slowly destroy the balljoints
Don't quote me but I think they are 16 1/4 from eye to eye. I know phragle built his own shock mounts to run 250r fronts, but he put a lot of engineering into it i think.
You are correct. Although I have measured 2 sets of PEP shocks which were 16-3/4" instead of the usual 16-1/4". :-/ either long travel a-arms, or custom a-arms which require precise engineering/welding skills. Or you could move the shock mounts which would throw the geometry off. I've seen them on bikes with 3+1+ a-arms which were standard travel, but they will over time like said above wear down(stress) the balljoints.
