240cc BBK plunge.

Ok i have another complete top to bottom 94 blaster engine that needs a top end rebuild other wise its perfect so i went ahead and ordered the vitos kit with intentions of porting it myself ive done many sbf and sbc stock and aftermarket port jobs and dont see this being too bad.


Anywho im looking at a head pipe and like pro circuit are they capable of handling this engine with the 240 kit?ive seen the lrd and f7 and for half the cost of them can buy a new head pipe by its self and reuse the new SST2 FMF silencer i already have.

this pro circuits a right bend it looks like if that matters and is the platinum model.

the pro-circuit blaster pipe is a left bend just like toomey and fmf, on ebay they just use a stock photo from a cr250

Yea i think its a generic pic.

So will it work well with this 240?i just dont want to spend 400 on a whole new setup when all i need is the head pipe.so whats a good low buck pipe?

i would go with a lrd dynoport or f7 mabey even a vitos fat bastard never heard complants about it you can run your fmf til you can find a better pipe it wont hurt nothing

Well the kit i ordered comes with the required jetting mods to use the stocker but ill probably snag a 35mm pwk off a kdx since ive got all the jets and needles i use with my current kdx.

So basically my question is what pipe if any will allow me to retain my silencer and still allow the 240 to breath?does fmf make a pipe that works on the 240?what about the sst?

you can use your fmf with f7 for sure thats what brando has for his f7 awk uses a lrd with his f7 so id imagine fmf would fit a lrd and im not sure about dyno port

If you are going to buy a pipe new and are building a trail motor then don't waste your money on an fmf,pro circuit,dg etc. Get an (f7,power pro's,ct),dynoport,lrd.You will see the best gains in these pipes for a 240 ported motor with carb etc. You can run any pipe that you want but the ones I posted will give you the best gains for a 240 motor.

Im not building it with anything specific in mind.we run at the track ocassionally,bad lands,trails,and a sh*t ton of country cruising.so im looking for all around performance.

i think you all missed he has an FMF SST pipe/silencer, they are specific to one another and do not work with other pipes/silencers

Ill take pics the head pipe is a gold fatty series and the silencer id an sst2 it says right on the side.i didnt buy it it was already on thr biie ehrn i bought it.

Ok ladies it seems as though the previous owner put an SST2 sticker on the silencer but its a tually a powercore2.

I never questioned it since i thought putting stickers on parts that dont match up was gay and only for ricers.anyhoo its a powercore 2 if that matters.


Also i went o power pros but couldnt find what ii was looking for.
