so i just bought a 240 motor from my cousin along with sh*t ton of extra parts for 200 bones, anywayz. my blaster HAD a stock motor with an "80 over sleeve" and DG header and some kinda silencer, also recently blew the head head gasket the bro blew the connecting rod to bits... but i could never feel any kind of powerband, ever, will this new motor and fmf power core 2 header and silencer change this?

when u put the new motor on be sure and check over everthing. reeds, clean carb, new plug. u should def feel some sort of pull in powerband even in stock motors. should feel it more on 240. keep us posted. can use stock carb but would benefit from a larger carb like 33-34mm. if you do use stock carb be sure and rejet.

yes, pics or your lying !!!!! house rules.
and i dont think anyone on here is running a 240 kit with a stock carb ?????

The guy who had my blaster before me was... and I bought it blown up!

The engine is a system, it's all designed to work as a unit. Just putting a 240cc cylinder on top isn't going to give the blaster the full power (and could actually harm it). You're going to be seriously limited on the carb and pipe if you plop a 240 kit down on top of your bottom end. You should probably look into putting your engine back together and then start looking into some high output supporting accessories (pipe and carb for starters). Once you have a good set of supporting accessories, then take your engine down and put everything on. Trying to do things half-assed is only going to end up bad.
