Got a quick ? for anyone who knows. Is a stock blaster jug resleeved for a 240 kit or is the jug slightly larger?Thank you to anyone who knows.

There are two ways of doing a 72mm bore. One being to re-sleeve your stock cylinder with a big bore jug and have your head modified, the other being an aftermarket cylinder/head assembly. The aftermarket cylinders are capable of making more power due to a superior port layout including tripple exhaust ports, they also run cooler than the re-sleeved setups so they prove to be more reliable.

I appreciate the info.I have three exhaust ports in the sleeve but head appears stock. The 199cc stamp is on the side of the head.It also looks like the ports could use some tooning.

You more than likely have an aftermarket big bore cylinder then. They are usually better designed than the factory port layout but as cast they can also use some good porting. Let me know if you'd like a porting quote on the cylinder. I also recommend having the head inspected by myself or whatever builder you have do the porting.

You can order a 240 big bore kit from Vitos for $575.00. It comes with everything. Bolts right on, you must have the engine oil block-off kit. And yes it is a 72mm piston.

Or you can buy this same kit from one of us site sponsors for even less money and support the site at the same time:) We sell the vito's 240 big bore cylinder/head kit for $530 plus shipping. But I highly recommend the LA Sleeve kit which comes with a forged piston, CR 250 style intake/boyesen rad valve and a superior port layout for only $695.
