240 jug

hey im working on a trade on a 240. anyways
i got the 240 here and looked it over and i seen what looks to be a very small pinhole on the side of the jug.i was wondering when i send it to get resleeved can they fix the hole or is the jug shot?
and when i said very small,the only way i seen it was it looked like fuel was blowing out of it.it was the cleanest spot on the jug besides the cylinder and ports

by any chance is it anywhere by the transfer ports? Maybe ground a little to thin on porting? Maybe a little Devcon or epoxy fo fix.

i mesured the port and it starts around the bottom big fin,the hole is around the middle of the 4 fins as you can see

Hope you didn't pay much for that. Between resleeve and fixing that going be pretty deep into it money wise. Is that jug ported for the 240? And you only have to put a new 240 sleeve in it? You sure there is a hole there?

it is a vitos topend right? just put some quicksteel in that hole... or if you know someone that welds aluminum they can patch it.

i assumed there was a hole there because it is the cleanest spot on the jug(outside)
the sleeve has a hairline crack at the base of the sleeve.and no it isnt ported

ill have to ask around to see if anyone welds aluminum in town
and atleast ill get one season out of my jug then after i get this 240 resleeved i ship it off
