all BS aside.. the differnce is the bikes are "closed course only" type deals.. that how they get away with no spark arrestor as well... they are tagged a "race machine"
i own both.. banshee and both version of a 250R.. 3 wheel and 4 wheel.. all are good.. for unmatched retarded style acceraltion your CANNOT beat a banshee.. twins are twice as effecient as a single lunger.. but a 250R handles like a dream.. ride a ATC250R.. thats where you seperate the men from the boys..
everybody makes a big deal about a 08 or 09 shee.. i've ridden an 08 shee.. no big deal.. funny thing about banshees.. once you take the plastic off.. both my 97 both my 98's and my 03 look identical to an 09... it's nothing more than BNG.. that 08 plastic is about impossible to get in teh USA though.. my broer wanted it BAD for his 4mm duner setup i'm building him.. yamaha dealer tried for 3 weeks.. never could get it here...
