Hello guys!
Im new at this so please bear with me.
ok i got this 2006 blaster that i had a top end rebuild and ran good so i gave it back to the owner.
by the way, no i did not do a proper brakedown on the engine.
so it stped runing after a few days and woulnd start i took off the Thor system and replaced coil, plug, carb replaced the toip end gaskets after doing a visual inspection on piston and rings(they look good).
also got 150psi comp too.
new coil, stator, pwk carb with pilot jet 45,main jet 148.
unipod filter mount on the carb(no box),i took off the tor system ofcourse.
blaster will start and idle ruf but idles as soon i touch the trotle will die out.
it has good compression but the plug is wet when i checked it.
I work on cars but this bike is kicking my butt to the tune that i paid for it and kept it to avoid loosing a good friend and customer.
Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!

whats the proper procedure to adjust the float?
This is a brand new Carb jetted as stated before.
Thanks for the help.

Float height should be about 21mm look on youtube how to adjust atv float hieght and before you do that have you checked the reeds its possible that the reeds are bad

Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!

when u cut the wires for the tors did u splice the cut wires together to complete the circuit? on 03+ u must do that or it wont run.. only on 02 and down is it as simple as taking it off. also it could be the parking brake, is that still connected?

Yup Noobs, allthe symptoms of an "on" parking brake!

Parking brake disconected,tor system spliced.
Im a noob on 2 stroke atv but been reading this forum and following instructions.
weather in Florida sucked today so i wasnt able to work on it hopefully tomorrow it will be dry enough for me to tinker.
:)

As you know with your experience there are 3 things that you need.

Compression, you got that.

Good spark at the right time, do you have that? Are the earths good?

Check the parking brake sensor at the handlebar end.

Fuel/air in the correct proportion, by a wet plug you have fuel, but is it too rich?
