Well, I'm really excited! Going today after school to go buy a 400ex. Its for $2500 and its been heavily modded.

Its pretty modded for a 400ex. its no 440ex or doesnt have a high performance cam, but it has a full yoshi exhaust on it, jetted, uni filter, alot of body accessories

I plan on putting a Stage II Hot Cam in it when i get it paid off and when i have money....

oh, okay not too much, but just enough. i have heard that these overheat when modded to the nuts. i guess any aircooled 4 stroke would if worked up though.


enjoy it. i should have gotten a 400 because i'd probably be better off in the long run.

Mine with just a pipe would run hot as f*ck, they really should be liquid cooled.

I agree, I might also mount up a 10in fan so when it idles, it can cool it off a little...

Well mine has a bigbore, pipe, hi comp. Piston, cam and mine doesn't get extreamly hot, I'd like to get some air scoops just as a precaution though
