I got a 2003 blaster its got a few nice things nerfs, full toomey, spacers, but other then that Its pretty stock. I'm trying to get more power would you say vf3 cage and reeds are worth it ? also would a carb for a 85 or 125 bike work or add any power? Advanced timing key worth it ? Any input would be great

Do not buy the advance timing key. There is a write up in the DIY section on how to advance your timing for free.

Is your airbox lid off? You should be looking at getting your motor ported and head Rechambered. Then you can go to a bigger carb.

Boyseen power reeds stage 2-3 , stroker crank, aftermarket coil.

Best mods ever for my blaster is my leak tester. Doesn't add a lick of power but definately keeps it from having to be pushed home.

Is it properly jetted for the Toomey?

A larger carb would possibly be a good investment for the pipe to complement its top end attributes.

The next best bang for your buck is a rechambered head.

Porting, head mod, lightened flywheel, vf4 reeds, a pwk 28 carb, legit 4 degree timing advance, and your Toomey. Youll be super happy, that just about exactly what my engine is, an if its all setup properly the Toomey is a awesome pipe for just about all riding types, mine has a ton of low end chug an a hard mid an pulls on top till you dont feel comfortable turning the engine any harder, it never quits
