Ok have 2 freshly rebuilt blasters and both have no spark. One had enough spark to start it but it had carb issues and wouldn't stay running. After cleaning carb went to start and had weak spark... Nowhas none. On the other I just mounted the engine and has nothing. Yes I have a new plug I tried on both, new coil I tried on both. I have a flywheel puller being shipped. Cleaned all the wires and they all match up. Any ideas?

Ill post some pics. The red one is clean but the blue has some dirt. Probably the reason why sitting here thinking about it. Lol

What connections should I sand? Voltage regulator, coil, and the side where the little ring hooks up for the stator?

Is the orange and black wire on the coil? Black wire from coil should go to ground. Orange comes from the cdi.

Also check the plug boot itself.Make sure it is making contact. Can't hurt to try and turn clockwise to tighten up the cennection.Or unscrew it,cut 1/2 inch off and reinstall the boot.

Yes black and orange wire are on. I took all 3 coils off the bikes and am going to look and test them tonight. My dad said it's the coils because if it had spark and lost its spark the coil is weak. But a brand new one weak?

did you jump the wires where the clip is near the carb? you said you took it off today is after that when quit getting spark? because the odds of all bad coils is slim to none

No it had no spark before or after taken it off. It had enough to start then quickly down graded to none! Red one never had it! Kind of thinking the spray paint isn't allowing the ground to touch the frame?

that could well be it I would take to bare metal anywhere there are grounds my neighbor had the same issue with an old Husqvarna and he cleaned where the grounds go and it fixed it

That could be the issue with the red... But the blue I cleaned up with sand paper and I made sure it was all clean.

some times its easier for me to see it and offer advise than do it this way but I hope yo can find it the 1 I just got has fat spark guy thought it was wiring causing no rev but not so

So did a little testing and the new coil was reading good. And the other 2 boots were dead! The coils are fine but the boot... Are these boots known for burning up?
