I have a 1994 yamaha blaster 200 and I would like to add a battery to it. it has the compartment under the seat and it already has functional lights. I would just like to be able to add a battery to it so that my lights do not flicker when at low rpms. I am very good with wiring but just need to know where to hook up which wires and exactly what I will need for this (rectifier, regulator ect.)

you're on the right track already.... there was a thread about this a while back but the jist is simple. You need to purchase a DC Conversion regulator rectifier and remove the flywheel and stator plate. Then the lighting coil ground has to be removed from ground and fed into the reg/rec along with the current lighting coil output. Then the output from the reg/rec is fed into the battery and lighting switch. Really not rocket science, just a little bit of wiring needed.
