the lt250r arent as peppy as the tecates or hondas but there still pretty quick........and there a little bit harder to find parts for, but there still pretty good machnies and for 800 i would jump all over that

I've owned an '86 and a '90 quadracer. Stock for stock, the '90 would outrun a trx. They run good but don't handle as well as a trx. The '87 is also a good year because it has the larger intake ports on that cylinder.

if its solid, then yes. Parts are more expensive for the lt's then say a honda tho.
