GOOD JOB!!! night and day difference. i wonder if the R motor will bolt right in? and new plastics would be the way to go. along with a new seat cover. u dont wanna half ass since u put all that work in.
I agree, it desperately needs new plastics, but I only have $300 and I'm saving that for a Toomey B1 and new reeds for the Blasty. If my dad wants he can spend the 400 or so dollars to get new plastics for his quad ;] . Thanks though, I am happy with it.
R motor wont go in. Tried that for my x. I think its clearance issues for the exhaust. I think the r frame is a few inches longer in the engine area or something like that.
For about 5-6 hundred dollars you can make the x pretty fast....well faster than a decent modded blaster. 12:1 piston,race cam,heavy duty valve springs, exhaust pipe and a bigger carb. Oh and a decent gasket set will be about 80 bucks.
oh yeah and check ebay. I got my toomey for 150 on ebay.
