1985 kawasaki kx125

Kawasaki kx125 1985 , also a complete rebuild but parts are hard to find so it's gonna take some time to finish her.
How i picked it up:

Made it running again to make sure everything is in working order and cleaned her up a bit:

Tore it down, and started the restoration

Need to get my hands on some decent plastic

unfortunately I had to sell a lot of mine due to hour cuts at work before I got my new job,but ill get more.Still have an 87 quadzilla,a 92 lt250r,a 92 xr600r,and my kids atc70 and tri zinger

Painted the frame,

swapped the engine for a fresh one, welded a cracked motormount, made a vintage style pipe for it

, re-upholsterd the seat
need to do: rejet for pipe, new chain& sprockets, new rear tire, new handle-bar controls, get it painted and get it sold $$$

It's a 50cc so it's not that fast, but for kids good enough, handles surprisingly good even with me on it very heavy bike btw the front end is just as heavy to lift as a blaster rear end for comparison...haven't got it at a scale, but it's definately over-engineered,not like nowadays almost chinese like sh*t... no kid is gonna bend that thing.
Gonna order this for it :70cc cylinderkit and 15mm bing carb etc.
I'll hope it will wheely lol

Look at the whopping pricetag...90$ for the whole kit lol ( not gonna use that foamfilter,wanna keep stock appearences)
Stock cyl. is a 50cc 4 port
This a 70cc 8 port
Already swapped the points ignition for a electronic unit.(oldskool isn't always better..)

Dang I just look through three threads of some pretty cool vintage type stuff, I don't know how I missed them, but wow I wish I had the time/money to find, build/restor, and ride/sell whatever cool machines I run across

accept the selling that is the hard part, I always wanna keep everything
That's why i don't do cars anymore, takes up to much space
The vintage stuff is going be worth more and more, I try to collect/restore in the future as much as I can.
