so about a year and a half ago i bought a blaster that had been sitting for about 2 years so it sat for 3 years with a siezed piston and bad stater well to into it 6 months ago since i have never owned a 2 wheel drive fourwheel i didnt know what i had. turns out full fmf exaust bored 30 over about to bore out to 60 over, aftermarket reeds, and 34mm carb as of now ive herd the motor fir for about a min till it ate a ring our dumbasses forgot to changed rings from the ones that were siezed so new top end here we go again but im only in this four wheeler forr 500 after the new top end will have pics later without motor in and when i get back to work on it ill get more picks

well the guy working on it said its more than likly 40 over and with the gash as deep as it is we might have to go up to 60 but im hoping 50 lol i just got quated 45 to have it bored and 120 for piston set is this a decent price?

well i might have to take him up on his offer then needless to say i have no idea why the kid sold me this for 100 the vin didnt come up stolen and the header and pipe are easily double what i paid not to mention everything else ya know i guess people are crazy but i do promise a pic of the from with plastics as soon as i get the blackberry charged

thanks for the link im seriously trying to keep this a cheap build up any thing else i should look into while im here the bottom end checked out good execpt the clutches but thats no biggie

already have gaskets and like i said the motor ran fan with no leaks and damn good compression the only reason we have to do this is we put the old rings in that had been siezed up. at this point its looking to only be 120 for new piston rings pushrod clips and bored and honed

thats awesome, i love the budget build I:I. good luck not falling in love and wanting to mod the hell out of it once you do get her running!!

Lol. I know, right? I gave a mere $1,000 for my like-new '05 Blaster this summer. I rode it right outta the truck bed, but two days later I already had the oil injection off, the airbox cut out, the parking brake laying in the corner, and the wiring harness ripped apart to get rid of the TORS. Then came VF3's and a Keihin PWK28. All within the first week! I think I'll have to get rid of my Warrior to support the Blaster habit... :D
