03 dvx 400 by artic cat

what is it worth not running ? and are they any good. owner said it stopped running when SAND got into the carb. he keeps saying it only needs a carb clean but i have told him on one is that lucky and i bet the cylinders are washed out from it. anyway whats it worth as is and are they any good here are the mods. the quad it VERY clean

It's the same bike as a z400, just different plastics. They are fast and have a pretty good following at z400 central. Lots of parts available. But yeah I bet the cylinder and valve train is trashed. I'd offer him 900 bucks. Cylinder kits are pretty cheap if you buy them through Paul at advantagecylce. Good luck.
