Possibly part of the oil seal?

I ordered a new piston to replace mine that had a crack in the exhaust side of the skirt. The problem is that the top ring won't fit. Both rings are within 0.02 mm of each other, but neither will fit the top groove. Both will fit the bottom. Seems like the top groove is just too thin. Anyone...

So I broke my piston being careless when pulling my crank. I used a telescoping bore gauge, took the 12 measurements and came up with 66.84 average bore size. Will a 66.75mm leave to much piston/cylinder clearance? Do I have to go up to 67? Cylinder looks clean with no scoring or scratching.

It sounds like an air leak as others have said, and if your getting air from the oil passways you need to split the cases and find out why.

That DIY crank puller works great. I've used it for pulling and re-install a crank, and it works well both ways. Finding metric all-star in the US is a pain, so I re-tapped for standard. A little sketchy but it worked.

TIG will beat brazing for strength for sure, but if price is a concern, Brazing will work. If that chunk of metal is from the case need to look into why, and repair that as well.

Pics might help, I just used aluminum brazing rods to re-attach a broken motor mount to one of my case halves. That stuff is tricky to get the hang of, but it's strong stuff. And no welder needed.

The 8 psi on the gauge is actually PSIG pounds square inch gauge. its actually 22.696 total pressure.

I used a leak tester and that's how I found a leaky clutch side crank seal (repaired), and I had a ton of air coming from behind the balancer bearing which was why I was splitting the cases in the first place. I've tried the alumaweld on a Chinese dirt bike case with 0 luck. Since we found out...

I'm pretty sure I know the answer, but is this repairable? I was pulling the motor to split the cases and hunt down an air leak, used a long extension to pound out the swing arm bolt. When I had the bolt about halfway out I saw the bolt was bent, and I saw the crack. I said F it and got the bolt...

Same day I filled out the application. Took my picture and gave me my concealed carry permit in the courthouse.

Anyone know if this is still in effect? Around Christmas I saw a few commercials for honda's crf line and crf50 and 70 were in the lineup.

I recently got my CC permit here in PA, and there is a question about being involuntarily committed on the application, but I'm not sure if that's part of the background check.

I edited/deleted some things off the wiring diagram for stuff thats missing from my blaster ( I hate seeing all the wires going nowhere). Kind of a bare minimum setup. No TORS, oil light/sensor, or taillight. Anyone see something i missed to make it work? 2nd pic is the standard diagram for...
